An instruction in this regard is being issued to all the graduate police officers and constables to spare couple of hours and take classes under their respective jurisdiction in the district, Superintendent of Police Inderjeet Mahatha said today.
The move was an attempt to develop interaction with the people particularly with the students and youths and motivate them to contribute their part in nation building, he said.
"We have been inter-acting with the people on regular basis but it is mainly restricted to maintenance of law and order", Mahatha admitted.
The initiative will be launched across the district including the naxal-affected pockets of Kuchai, Chandil, Chowka, Mahatha, who has initiated a massive drive against illicit liquor mafia and criminals, said.
