Celebrity nutritionist Pooja Makhija will come out with a guide for parents to help them emerge victorious over the ultimate child-rearing battleground - the dinner table.
"Eat Delete Junior" will be published in May next year by HarperCollins India.
The book mitigates the general furore and misunderstanding surrounding child nutrition. It will teach parents how to inculcate correct eating habits in their children so minor ailments are nipped in the bud, thus reducing dependence on doctors and nutritionists, the publisher says.
"Looking forward to a great run; or, even better, a great print run!" says Makhija.
According to Debasri Rakshit, Commissioning Editor of HarperCollins India, "In these times when the nature of parenting is changing so quickly and there is added pressure on families that have easy access to junk food, the health of children and adolescents has become a subject of increasing attention.
"'Eat Delete Junior' steps in with invaluable advice and tips from a nutritionist and mother on the obvious traps of obesity and ill-heath. We're delighted to work with Pooja again and on such an important subject."
Makhija, nutritionist to the likes of Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor and Sushmita Sen, had earlier authored "Eat Delete".
