Portfolios allotted to newly inducted minister

Newly appointed Minister Banna Gupta was today allotted Agriculture, Sugarcane Development and Housing departments, days after being inducted in the Hemant Soren government.
A notification from Raj Bhavan said Governor Syed Ahmed allotted the portfolios to him on the recommendation of the chief minister.
A Congress MLA, Gupta took oath as the new minister on September 27.
He succeeded party legislator Yogendra Sao, who had resigned after being accused of founding an ultra outfit. Sao had held the same portfolios.
