Three litre ghee will be given to the pregnant woman after the first ANC (test) and the remaining two litre at the time of discharge after delivery.
The decision was today taken in a cabinet meeting here chaired by Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Rajendra Rathore said the decision to provide three litre desi ghee at the time of ANC will help in improving maternal nutrition in pregnancy and lactation period of pregnant BPL women.
The pregnant BPL women will get coupon of three litre ghee after check up between fourth to sixth months of pregnancy.
He informed that to promote the alternative energy, the state cabinet has decided to amend the Biomass Energy Policy 2010.
The cabinet also cleared the proposal to double the special pay of STF officers and jawans.
