Arriving at the N S C Bose International Airport here on May 5 noon in an IAF Special Flight from Delhi, Mukherjee would go to Jadavpur University via RCTC Helipad to release 'Bichitra' (Tagore Online Variorum).
In the evening, the President would attend the dinner party hosted by the Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court Arun Kumar Mishra at a city hotel before returning to Raj Bhavan for night stay.
Later, he would leave for Midnapore by helicopter to attend the 175th anniversary of the Midnapore Collegiate School.
On his return from Midnapore the same day, the President would grace the presentation of a book of Bengali short stories by late Dr Debranjan Mukhopadhyay at Raj Bhavan in the evening.
Mukherjee would leave for Delhi the next day after staying overnight at Raj Bhavan.
