Principal beats student for not bringing school diary; booked

A principal of a private school in Chintalkunta area was booked today for allegedly beating a class X student for not bringing her school diary, the police said.
"Following the complaint, we have registered a case of simple hurt against the principal, identified as Chandrashekar," Assistant Commissioner of Police (L B Nagar Division) P Venugopala Rao said.
Further probe is on.
