Chandan Singh, a resident of Mayur Vihar area here, was found dead in a vacant plot by some local residents this morning who informed the police, they said.
"Singh had gone to consume liquor last night where he was caught by Dilip Kumar and Prem Singh who robbed him of cash, a bracelet and ring. They killed him and dumped the body at the vacant plot," police said.
"The body, bearing injury marks, was shifted to Kanwatia hospital for post-mortem," police added.
