"The film bridges the divide between the modest world of a rural Bengal school teacher portrayed by me and the Nordic island country which he can never dream about," Prosenjit told PTI.
"These days I get more chance and scope to portray the common man. Such a story and the way it has been told, allows the world to have a dialogue through pictures," the reigning superstar of Tollywood said.
He recalled how he found filmmaker Gourab's idea of projecting a timid, wife-fearing Anjaniputra, Hanuman's other name, leading a mofussil teacher's life, unconventional.
"It is cathartic to project the common people's image, to come out of your own shell, which you can't realise unless you work with these new breed of young directors -- Gourab, Srijit and others," the 'Baishe Srabon' actor said.
Namit Bajoria of Cinenine said that besides having an international cast and crew of Germans, Russians and Icelanders, 'Hanuman.Com' was the first Indian film which spent over 40 per cent of its around Rs 6 crore budget on shooting in Iceland.
