A group of unidentified persons today barged into the office of noted Marathi writer Rajan Khan and blackened a sign board and a chair and hurled pamphlets against the upcoming movie 'Halal' which is based on his novel.
The incident took place today afternoon at the office of Khan's Akshar Manav Publication here.
"I was not in town. My staff informed me about the incident," said Khan.
"I am sure that those who barged into my office have not read the novel," he said, adding that the novel was not against any community.
Khan said he didn't mind criticism, but those who want to trash the novel should first read it.
