Moreover, it will also help in easy evaluation of responsibility and accountability from Junior Engineer to Block Development and Panchayat Officer (BDPO) level, he added.
This software would not only minimise the paper work but also the BDPO and bank officers would get complete picture of block and village wise schemes with just a click of button, he said.
Chandigarh: Punjab State Vigilance Bureau today nabbed a police inspector and a constable posted with the Excise department while they were allegedly accepting bribe.
The Bureau caught inspector Ranjit Singh, and constable Hardip Singh, posted in Excise department district Jalandhar, for demanding and accepting bribe from the complainant Jinderpal of village Palliwali, Nakodar.
The duo had allegedly been demanding a bribe of Rs 5,000 for not going ahead with registration of a false case against him under the Excise Act, official release said. =================
