An assembly spokesman said that Gurpartap Singh Wadala and Maheshinder Singh will head the Committees on Estimates and Public Undertakings respectively.
He said that Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa will head the Public Accounts Committee and former Justice Nirmal Singh will be the Chief of Committee on Welfare of Schedules Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes.
The Chairmen of other Committees are Dinesh Singh (House), Deep Malhotra (Privileges), Charanjit Singh Channi (Government Assurances), Harpreet Singh (Local Bodies & Panchayati Raj Institutions), Manoranjan Kalia (Subordinate legislation), S R Kaler (Petitions), Sarwan Singh Phillaur (Papers Laid/ To be Laid on the Table of the House), Hari Singh Zira (Library) and Ashwani Kumar Sharma (Questions and References).
