Queen to watch second Ashes Test at Lord's

Queen Elizabeth II will be present at the Lord's Cricket Ground to watch opening day of the second Ashes Test between England and Australia, here tomorrow.
The Queen would be introduced to the captains and the players as well as match officials before the start of play.
She will also visit the Marylebone Cricket Club's (MCC) famous Long Room, and meet the coaching staff of both teams before taking a seat on the MCC balcony to watch some of the day's play, according to the 'Daily Telegraph'.
The 87-year-old British monarch is patron of the MCC and will be guided around the ground by its secretary Derek Brewer and president Mike Griffith.

During her last visit to Lord's, the England team went on to dominate their Australian opponents and the local supporters would be hoping for the same tomorrow with the presence of the special spectator.
On that day in July 2009, Australia suffered a batting collapse late in the day and were left with the unedifying prospect of following on.
England went on to win the match by 115 runs - only the second time the Australians had ever lost a Test at Lord's.
