Qureshi was given the additional charge of UP Governor after B L Joshi resigned from the post on June 16 after a nudge from the Centre to some Governors appointed by the previous UPA government to quit.
The tenure of Joshi had expired a few months ago and he was sworn in again for another term.
Qureshi will be administered the oath of office as the UP Governor by Allahabad High Court Chief Justice D Y Chandrachood at Raj Bhawan Lucknow at 6 PM on June 23, an official release said here today.
