Rain, thundershower at isolated places in UP

Isolated places in eastern Uttar Pradesh witnessed rain and thundershowers today with the weather remaining dry in the western districts.
According to the Met office, Ballia received 10 cm of rain, followed by Salempur (5) and Padrauna and Hata (3 cm each).
There is a forecast of rain and thundershower at isolated places of the state tomorrow while the weather is likely to remain dry in the western parts later in the week.
