Nagrota Surian in Kangra district was wettest in the region with 76 mm of rains, while Dharamsala recorded 56 mm of rains, followed by Chamba 54 mm, Gohar 53 mm, Baijnath 45 mm, Sujanpur Tira and Mandi 39 mm, Dehragopipur 27 mm, Guler 25 mm, Nurpur and Kheri 22 mm, Pandoh and Jubabrhatti 21 mm, Banjar and Jogindernagar 17 mm and Una 13 mm.
Una was hottest in the region with minimum and maximum temperatures at 34.2 degrees Celsius and 26 deg while Sundernagar and Kangra recorded a high of 30.1 deg, followed by Nahan and Solan 28.4 deg, Bhuntar 28 deg, Dharamsala 27.8 deg, Shimla and Kalpa 23.4 deg respectively.
The local MeT office has warned heavy rains at some places during next 48 hours and rains and thundershowers at several places in the state.
