Rains likely in national capital

Delhiites today woke up to an overcast morning with the weatherman predicting rains and thundershowers in some parts of the city.
Humidity levels were recorded between 62 and 85 per cent in the morning.
According to the MET department, rains and thunderstorms may lash the city during the later part of the day.
"Rains are expected in the next 24 hours," a MeT official said.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 27.9 degrees Celsius, one degree above normal. The maximum temperature during the day is expected to settle around 36 degrees Celsius.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 39 degrees Celsius while the minimum was recorded at 28.5 degrees Celsius.
