Rains provide respite from sultry weather in Bihar

Many parts of Bihar received rains, which brought down the temperature today, providing relief to the people from sultry weather.
Patna received 21.2 mm of rainfall, while Gaya registered 62.8 mm of rain. Bhagalpur and Purnea received 88 mm and 97.2 mm of rainfall respectively, state MeT office said.
Due to the rains, temperature dropped in Patna and other parts of the state. Patna recorded a maximum temperature of 31 degrees Celsius, while Gaya registered a high of 30.8 degrees Celsius.
The maximum temperature in Bhagalpur was 30 degrees Celsius and in Purnea it was 30.7 degrees Celsius, the MeT department said.

The weatherman has predicted moderate rainfall in Patna at night.
