Raj announces bonus to state govt employees on Diwali eve

The Government of Rajasthan today announced to pay bonus to its non-gazetted employees on the eve of Diwali.
Employees getting grade-pay of Rs.4800 or less than per month would be entitle for bonus, according to an official statement.
As per Finance department's circular every employee would get bonus of Rs 3,387 and it bonus would cover 6 lakh employees.
This would give an additional burden of Rs.203 cr to the state exchequer. Gazetted officers would not be entitled for this bonus.
