Raj Assembly: Deputy speaker asks officials to give written apology for delay in tabling reports

Rajasthan Assembly Deputy Speaker Rao Rajendra Singh today directed officials of over 70 departments to give a written apology for delay in tabling annual reports in the House.
In a strict tenor during the Zero Hour, the deputy speaker expressed his anguish over the ministers and officers of the departments saying that the delay in tabling reports in the House was becoming a trend.
Singh said that over 70 departments did not submit the annual report on time and reports of a few departments is yet to be tabled. He then directed ministers and officials of concerned departments to apologise the Chair.

To this, state Parliamentary Affairs Minister Rajendra Rathore said that it was too harsh action taken by the Chair and asked for some kindness.
