Rajesh Mokashi takes charge as MD & CEO of Care Ratings

Care Ratings today said Rajesh Mokashi has taken charge as its new managing director and chief executive.
Mokashi, who was serving as deputy managing director of the credit rating agency, has been appointed as MD and CEO for a term of five years, a company statement said.
He has been with the company since inception in 1993 and has over 30 years of work experience.
He had earlier worked with Otis Elevator Company India, DSP Financial Consultants and Kotak Mahindra Finance before joining Care.
"Mokashi has worked in diverse areas in ratings such as rating operations, criteria development, business development, disinvestment advisory services, international ventures, regulatory compliance, human resources management, information technology, among others," it said.

He was earlier elevated to the board of Care on August 22, 2009 as deputy managing director. Mokashi also serves on the board of Care's subsidiary companies -- Care Kalypto Risk Technologies and Advisory Services as well as Care Ratings (Africa).
