"The graph of the BJP is rising among the people of the country. A win on one seat does not reflect public sentiments," Singh said on the sidelines of an event held here today.
Sunil Jakhar of the Congress won the Gurdaspur Lok Sabha seat, defeating the BJP's Swaran Salaria by more than 1.93 lakh votes.
The Gurdaspur Lok Sabha bypoll was necessitated following the death of actor and BJP MP Vinod Khanna.
