With the general elections looming large, BJP President Rajnath Singh today took stock of the current political scenario with top RSS functionaries and activists of front organisations of the Sangh Parivar.
Singh interacted with RSS leaders, including its chief Mohan Bhagwat, on the concluding day of the three-day meeting of the Sangh fountainhead at Shamirpet on the city outskirts, an event out of bounds for the media.
Sources in the RSS said such meetings take place twice in a year and no special significance can be attached to it.
"These meetings are mainly meant for exchange of views. Leaders of various Sangh outfits attended the meeting", an RSS functionary said.
