The post fell vacated as SCA president Bharat Shah resigned nearly a week ago after holding the post more than 17 years.
"Rathod has been with SCA since several years and has been serving as Honorary Treasurer since several years," SCA media manager Himanshu Shah said in a press release issued here today.
"After Rathod's appointment as president, he vacated the post of honorary treasurer. The SCA's governing body has appointed Nitin Raichura as honorary treasurer," the release said.
