Refined soya oil futures gain 0.28 pc

Refined soya oil prices were up by 0.28 per cent to Rs 736.60 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators raised their bets.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in August month moved up by Rs 2.05, or 0.28 per cent, to Rs 736.60 per 10 kg with an open interest of 7,540 lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in September contracts edged up by Rs 1.10, or 0.15 per cent, to Rs 738.55 per 10 kg in 48,790 lots.

Analysts said widening of positions by traders helped refined soya oil prices to trade higher at futures trade.
