The matter was taken up by Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Sanjay Khanagwal when the Delhi police placed on record the restrain order passed by a magistrate yesterday.
The CMM, after going through the order, said that restrain on airing the interview will continue.
The court also said that the police can take action, if required, if anyone airs or broadcasts the interview.
Delhi Police had yesterday registered an FIR in the matter and thereafter obtained an order from the court restraining the media from broadcasting, publishing or transmitting the interview.
The FIR was registered by the Delhi Police under IPC sections 505 (Statements conducing to public mischief), 504 (Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) 505(1)(b) (With intent to cause, or which is likely to cause, fear or alarm to the public), 509 (Word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) and section 66A of the IT Act (Punishment for sending offensive messages through communication service).
Police said it is probing the matter.
