Disciplinary action should be taken by school management against students and teachers who do not adhere to the direction, according to a circular issued by the Higher Secondary Director.
The circular was issued on the basis of the direction of Kerala State Commission for Protection of Child Rights.
Use of mobile phones, Facebook and WhatsApp during class hours was affecting the studies of the children and a restriction was essential, the Commission said in a press release here today.
