"Indra Singh Kushwaha, a native of Banda district who had retired from army last year, was picked up by ATS team led by inspector Tej Bahadur from Sadar Bazar crossing," SSP Ram Kishore Verma said.
The SSP said that Kushwaha has been charged with leaking information related to army during his posting in Siliguri about four years ago.
"Some money was also deposited in his account in a suspicious manner. Some incriminating documents have also been seized from Kushwaha," he said.
