The official Ajay Singh Parmar was arrested last evening during a raid by sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Bureau Inspector Neeraj Gupta said.
The accused had allegedly demanded Rs 1,000 from Badal Garg, a resident of Guru Nanak colony here, for further action on a form of Kisan Credit Card (KCC), Gupta said.
Acting on his complaint, a team of ACB sleuths laid a trap and arrested Parmar from a tea stall in front of Bundi SP office, where he had called Garg with the bribery amount, he said.
In September 2010, Parmar was held while accepting a bribe of Rs 18,500 during his posting in Keshoraipatan area of the district, Gupta said.
His suspension was recently revoked. However, the trial is on, he said.
