Shares of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) continued their upward trajectory for the third straight session today, rising over 1 per cent to a fresh closing high.
The stock gained 1.22 per cent to close at Rs 1,032.35 on the BSE. During the day, it jumped 1.55 per cent to Rs 1,035.80.
On the NSE, shares of the company rose 1.24 per cent to end at Rs 1,031.95.
The company's market valuation also zoomed Rs 7,982.44 crore to Rs 6,54,084.44 crore.
In terms of equity volume, 4.44 lakh shares of the company were traded on the BSE and over one crore shares changed hands on the NSE during the day.
In three days, the stock has gained nearly 4 per cent.
The stock has surged 12 per cent so far this year.
