BJP national Secretary H Raja today claimed the party's vote share in Tamil Nadu has increased due to Modi government's "achievements".
"The achievements and good work of Modi government has helped increase the vote share of BJP in all states, especially Tamil Nadu," he told reporters here.
He asserted that if BJP was elected to power in the coming elections, it will provide a clean and transparent administration in the state.
On the poll preparations, he said the party would hold conferences in all 234 assembly constituencies and Central BJP leaders would campaign after April 10.
Raja demanded that opposition Leader in Rajya Sabha Gulam Nabi Azad tender an apology for his remarks on RSS.
Taking potshots at the dravidian parties for opposing Hindi as the official language, he said wards of Dravidian leaders read Hindi and possess good knowledge about it.
Besides, they were studying in Central government-aided schools where Hindi was being taught, he maintained.
On attacks on Dalits in the state, he alleged that such incidents were on the rise. "Funds allotted to SC/ST are being diverted to some other purposes in Tamil Nadu."
Condemning the brutal attack on a young couple in Tirupur, in which the Dalit husband had died, he said such atrocities should end.
