Kom hails from Churachandpur district, though she stays at her official residence at Langol in Imphal west district.
Hundreds of villagers attended the function yesterday.
Meanwhile, 64-year-old Dongjapao, who was attending the function, was killed when a police constable, deployed for security, accidentally fired a shot from his service rifle.
