RPI activists burn US flag to protest diplomat's arrest

Republican Party of India (Athawale) activists burnt the flag of USA here today, to protest against the arrest and subsequent ill-treatment of Indian diplomat Devyani Khobragade in New York.
RPI workers also shouted anti-US slogans and demanded that the US government tender an apology over the treatment meted out to Khobragade.
The government should give a befitting reply to the US over the issue and ensure that such incidents do not recur, party workers said during the protest held outside RPI office here.
