The funds will be used for infrastructure development at religious tourism places, development of rural and heritage tourism, promotion of wildlife and eco-tourism activities and development of water reservoirs, a press note released here said today.
The funds also could be used for building adventure sports destination, development of Jain and Buddhist corridors in the state and development of new tourist destinations, fairs and air services, it said.
As per the break-up given, about Rs 5 crore will be spent on development of Buddhist corridor in western Madhya Pradesh, Rs 10 crore on Jain corridor, Rs 10 crore on heritage hotels and Rs 50 crore for eco and adventure tourism facilities to tourists among others.
