RSP's Single Day Hot Metal Production exceeds 10000 Tonne

Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) is notching up new standards of success with each passing day with commencement of operation of its new Blast Furnace-5.
The Steel Plant on March 30 produced 10,234 tonnes of Hot Metal out of which 5301 Tonnes were made by the new Blast Furnace 'Durga'. All the upstream and downstream units also contributed to this significant achievement by extending their timely support, RSP sources said today.
RSP's CEO G S Prasad yesterday visited the old Blast Furnace Control Room as well as the Control Room of the New Blast Furnace-5, and congratulated the employees for setting new benchmarks.
