The RSS today asked the Centre and the Jammu and Kashmir government to deal with terrorists and separatists with ironhand.
"Terrorists and separatists should be dealt with sternly (inKashmir by the governments). There should be no compromise on it," Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Manmohan Vaidya told reporters here.
The RSS held a three-day conclave, from July 18, its first such meet inJammu and Kashmir since Independence during which issues related to the situation in the state and country, among others, werediscussed.
Vaidya said during the conclave the situation in West Bengal and J&K was also discussed.
To a question on settlement of RohingyaMuslims in Jammu and "change in demography" of the region, he said, "The RSS has already made it clear that they should be identified and if possible, sent back. If they have to be sent back, then the government needs to talk to those respective governments of the country (for their return)."
He said the society and country should be vigilant about the activities of anti-national elements in Bengal and J&K.
Replying to another question about the grant of minority status to minority Hindus and others in J&K, Vaidya said there should be such a status for them and it should be discussed.
