They also deliberated upon taking up new measures to skill the youth of Assam.
A driver training institute, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendras and international skill centres will come up across Assam, in line with the initiatives planned by the Centre.
"Discussions with CM @sarbanandsonwal on skilling in Assam. Over 6500 youths have been trained so far, huge potential 2 b tapped (sic)," Rudy tweeted on the meeting.
The government has a special focus on states in the north-east including Assam to boost skill development in the country so enhance their employment potential.
