The 72-year-old actor posted on his blog that jawaans are "true keepers" of the society.
"'Jawaans' (are the ones) that fight at our borders, that protect our land that give us the privilege of peaceful slumber at night... They are the true keepers of the land... They sacrifice and we merely acknowledge them..."
The "Piku" star said people must dedicate their prayers and thoughts to the jawaans who are inspirational.
