Of the Rs 95 crore, the minister said Rs 60 crore was for conducting the Games, Rs 24 crore for infrastructure development and Rs 11 crore for teams.
Stating progress for holding the Games in Guwahati and Shillong from February 6 to 16 next was on at a satisfactory pace, he insisted on the quality and standard of all arrangements.
Eight countries, including host India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka would be participating in the Games.
There would be 24 events with 16 of them scheduled to be held in Guwahati and eight in Shillong.
Nearly 4000 international players and officials are expected to be part of the contingents participating in various sports disciplines, according to Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi.
