A 29-year-old salesman was allegedly killed by three persons in Ulhasnagar township in Thane district yesterday, the police said today.
The incident occurred in Azad Nagar locality when the victim Chandrakant More was talking to his friends when three persons arrived at the spot and stabbed him with knives, a police official said.
Police suspect previous enmity to be the cause behind the crime.
A case has been registered under various sections of the IPC including murder and further investigation is underway, said Thane Police PRO Sukhada Narkar.
While one of the accused is detained search is on for two others, a police official said.
