Saptarshi Roy takes charge as Human Resource Director of NTPC

State-owned NTPC today said that Saptarshi Roy has taken over the charge as its Director (HR).
"Saptarshi Roy has taken over the charge as Director (HR), NTPC with effect from today," the company said in a statement.
Roy (56 years) is graduate in electrical engineering, with career spanning over 36 years of outstanding contribution in NTPC as Regional Executive Director (North) and ER-I Regions as well as Executive Director (Corporate Planning) besides Head of HR at Projects and Corporate Office.

Ujaas Energy receives order from Airports Authority of India * Ujaas Energy today said it has bagged an order from Airports Authority of India for design, manufacturing and commissioning of rooftop grid-connected solar photovoltaic system.
The company has received an order for "design, manufacture, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of rooftop grid connected solar PV system of 158 Kwp from Airports Authority of India VSI Airport, Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar," Ujaas Energy Ltd said in a BSE filing.

NHPC commissions 50 MW wind power project in Rajasthan * State-run NHPC today announced commissioning of a 50 MW wind power project in Rajasthan.
"NHPC has commissioned its 50 MW wind power project in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan," the company said in a BSE filing.
"The project consist of 25 nos wind turbine generators each of 2 MW capacity, which has been successfully synchronised with grid in October 2016," the filing said.
