The film featuring Sushant Singh Rajput opposite Sara, will arrive in cinemas in June next year.
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh broke the news on Twitter.
"Balaji and KriArj join hands for Abhishek Kapoor's next #Kedarnath... Stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan... June 2018 release," he wrote.
Earlier, there were rumours that Sara would make her debut with "Student of the Year 2" and had been signed by Karan Johar.
While, Sushant was recently seen in "Raabta" alongside Kriti Sanon and is currently busy with Dharma Production's "Drive".
