She was 89 and held the post since 2013, the Mission said today.
She breathed her last at her quarter in Baghbazar Math yesterday.
Hundreds of followers gathered at the Sarada Math this morning to pay their last respects to the departed soul after which her body was cremated, it said.
Pravrajika Viswaprana had joined Nivedita Girls' School as a teacher in 1950 and became a nun in 1954 when Sri Sarada Math and Ramakrishna Sarada Mission was founded.
