Paulson, 41, won her first Primetime Emmy Award on Sunday for her portrayal of Marcia Clark in "The People vs OJ Simpson: American Crime Story" and used her acceptance speech to express her love for her 73-year-old partner, who was unable to attend the ceremony because she was in New York rehearsing for her Broadway play "The Front Page".
At the end of her acceptance speech, Paulson simply said, "Holland Taylor, I love you."
The actress said the declaration of love wasn't something she wanted to hide, admitting she wanted to "shout from the rooftops" about how much she loves her long term partner.
