The top seed thus set up a title clash with second seed Mahak Jain, of Maharashtra, who too was taken the distance before prevailing over fourth seed Sabhyata Nihalani of Delhi 2-6 6-4 6-3 in the other semi final.
Somani of Assam was given a tough fight by seventh seed Sivadeep Kosaraju of Tamil Nadu before prevailing 7-6(0) 6-3.
Kalyanpur of Karnataka tamed giant-killer Calvin Golmei Naithaolin of Chandigarh 6-3 6-3 in the other semi final.
