"Regret shooting my mouth & hurting sentiments. Will try to improve my characteristic flaw," Satpathy tweeted.
Apart from disapproving of the Dhenkanal MP's statement in public, Patnaik had yesterday also said an explanation would be sought from him.
Satpathy while addressing a public meeting in his home constituency on Wednesday had stated that Patnaik recently removed some leader from the ministry due to their wrong activities. He had also named Debi Mishra, who was appointed vice-president of BJD after resigning from the ministry.
"I have given a great deal of important political work to certain leaders of our party. Nobody should construe it as otherwise," Patnaik had said.
