Saurav in semifinal of Macau Open

National champion Saurav Ghosal lived upto his second seed rating by beating compatriot Harinder Pal Sandhu for a place in the semifinal of the Macau Open, a PSA world tour event, here today.
Saurav won 11-9, 11-6, 3-11, 11-8.
It was not an easy outing for Saurav as Harinder, known for his fighting abilities, displayed that to the fore.
The 64-minute affair saw the national champion getting tested. But except for the thrid game which saw Harinder at his best, the senior Pro had his way in the end to reach the last four where he will face fourth seed Daryl Selby of England.
