Dutt will return to the silver screen with the Omung Kumar film. Sayyeshaa recently made her Bollywood debut with Ajay Devgn's "Shivaay".
"She (Sayyeshaa) has-been signed for the film as she was apt for the role. She will play the daughter... Her role is quite interesting and good. She will most likely start shooting next year in January. But before the shoot she will have workshops," sources said.
"Bhoomi" is an emotional, revenge drama that centres around the relationship between a father and daughter.
The film will be made under the banner of Bhushan Kumar led T-Series, Sandeep Singh and Omung Kumar's production house Legend Studios.
