School bus attacked, three injured

Two school students and a bus driver were injured when a group of at least ten youths allegedly attacked a school bus in Shamli district, police said today.
The incident occurred last evening at the area between Butrada and Khanpur villages when the bus was on its way to drop the children, they said.
At least 10 youngsters belonging to an another school attacked the bus and beat up two students- a class XI student, Rajat Malik and a class V student Suryant with canes. They also beat up the bus driver Rajkumar and damaged the vehicle when he tried to resist, police said.

The injured were shifted to a hospital, they said.
Old enmity is stated to be the reason behind the attack, they added.
An FIR has been registered in the matter, they said, adding a search is on to nab the accused.
