Security decked up as Pink City gets ready for New Year's eve

Adequate security arrangements have been made by the police here to ensure law and order as the Jaipur city and adjoining areas gear up for New Year's eve.
A large number of tourists visit the Pink City on the occasion of New Year and police administration has made tight arrangements including deployment of extra police force, directing hotels and bars to check security arrangements and penalise drunken driving, ADGP (Law and Order) N Ravindra Kumar Reddy told PTI here today.
"We have alerted traffic police and asked all senior officials to keep a vigil in their circle areas. Additional police force of nearly 400 home guards has been deployed.

"We have also asked hotels to keep a security check on the guests within their premises and parking areas, he said.
"Apart from traffic police, each police station has one breath analyser and there are nearly 3,000 equipments in the state, Reddy added.
There will no laxity in dealing with drunken driving cases. Strict instructions have given to keep a check, especially on December 30 and 31. People should enjoy while maintaining the rules and regulation, he said.
