Select copra declines on poor demand

Copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode declined at the spices market here today due to poor demand from stockists and retailers amid lower export offtake.
All other spices ruled steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
Copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode slipped by Rs 100 per quintal each to Rs 6,400 and Rs 6,300 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 6,500 and Rs 6,400, respectively.

Black pepper (per kg) 675/760 (675/760), ginger bleached (per kg) 140 (140), ginger unbleached (per kg) 160 (160), copra office Alappuzha (per quintal) 6,400 (6,500), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 6,300 (6,400), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 10,700 (10,700), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 8,000 (8,000).
